TCM is committed to provide comfortable and safe bus services to the public. For upgrading and improving the bus service continuously, TCM recruits and trains professionals of different areas. Included are the front-line drivers, outdoor supervisors, maintenance technicians for supportive services and staffs of different departments. All of them actively provide stable and reasonable bus services to the public.
Bus Driver
For routine operations, TCM would hold meetings with drivers and outdoor supervisors periodically to review operations for improving and upgrading overall service level and drivers’ and supervisors’ service standards. Furthermore, TCM and Macau Management Association have co-organized the “On the job training course for bus drivers” to encourage bus drivers and supervisions to participate for upgrading their own value. Result of training is satisfactory, and the drivers have been benefit and have improved daily operation. TCM is the first bus company to employ female bus drivers. We welcome the women who are interested in becoming a bus driver to serve the public. Their excellent performances have made contributions to the services of TCM bus fleet. Following the development of TCM, we will keep on recruiting people who would be committed to serve the public. Outdoor supervisor
We have set up terminal offices at several terminals in Macao and islands. Bus station officer are responsible for arranging and managing the daily operation of buses. When passengers have enquires, bus station officer would actively and enthusiastically assist locals as well as tourists to take TCM buses to go to their destinations. Moreover, they will reflect passengers’ comments to TCM. These comments will be analyzed, and follow-ups and improvements will be made. For the recruitment of bus station officer, male and female are welcome. There are women to fill in this post in recent years, and they have contributed to maintain the operation of the bus fleet. Logistic Team
We undertake inspections for our buses. The inspection system and standards we operate are the same as the system used in the IACM (Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau) government inspection center. This ensures that each bus attains the standards of IACM. All buses have to pass the annual inspection of IACM to be allowed to drive on roads. For recruitment, we do not only employ experienced technicians, but also trainees and junior technicians. In response to the professional training scheme of the government, we have co-operated with the Labor Department to provide practical training opportunities for young trainees in our workshop. After completing the training period, if they demonstrate satisfactory performance and satisfy the requirements, they can join us and become one of TCM members. We will provide them promotional opportunities and let them fully utilize their skills. The works of Maintenance Department include engines, chassis, electrical work, air-conditioning, body repairs and paint, etc. Anyone who meets with the following conditions can apply to join in the Maintenance Department:
