TCM is committed to provide comfortable and safe bus services to the public. For upgrading and improving the bus service continuously, TCM recruits and trains professionals of different areas. Included are the front-line drivers, outdoor supervisors, maintenance technicians for supportive services and staffs of different departments. All of them actively provide stable and reasonable bus services to the public.

Bus Driver

TCM’s goal is to train polite, enthusiastic, responsible, and cautious drivers. We have professionals and government recognized driving instructors to work for training qualified bus drivers who can meet standards established by the government. While drivers get the recognized bus-driving license from the government, we will provide further trainings in manners, personal image and other operations. Besides, all new drivers will drive through all TCM routes under driving instructors’ guidance to get more familiar with TCM routes and operations. After completing all training, one will become a TCM driver officially and can start serving the public.

For routine operations, TCM would hold meetings with drivers and outdoor supervisors periodically to review operations for improving and upgrading overall service level and drivers’ and supervisors’ service standards. Furthermore, TCM and Macau Management Association have co-organized the “On the job training course for bus drivers” to encourage bus drivers and supervisions to participate for upgrading their own value. Result of training is satisfactory, and the drivers have been benefit and have improved daily operation.

TCM is the first bus company to employ female bus drivers. We welcome the women who are interested in becoming a bus driver to serve the public. Their excellent performances have made contributions to the services of TCM bus fleet. Following the development of TCM, we will keep on recruiting people who would be committed to serve the public. No matter what is your sex, you are welcome to join in our team to provide bus services to the public.

As long as you match with the following conditions, you are welcome to be TCM’s driver trainee:

	Over one year’s professional driving license of heavy truck (with “mechanical knowledge” passed), in short with “C class license”.
	Good behavior record
	With enthusiasm to serve the public
	Male or female
	Good driving record

Outdoor supervisor

Outdoor Supervisors are responsible for managing and supervising the daily operation of the bus fleet. They are given walkie-talkie to keep connected in order to maintain a highly efficient bus service. While special festivals such as New Year, Christmas and large scale performances, besides making special schedules for different routes, we also send our supervisors to crowded bus stops to maintain normal operation of buses, to give guidance to passengers and to help keep the road traffic smooth so that passengers can get on TCM buses easily. When sudden occasions occur such as traffic accidents, roadblock or temporary change in traffic, etc., supervisors will go to the site immediately to direct and co-ordinate the route affected, and tries to minimize the influence to passengers and by which demonstrates their professional spirits.

　　We have set up terminal offices at several terminals in Macao and islands. Bus station officer are responsible for arranging and managing the daily operation of buses. When passengers have enquires, bus station officer would actively and enthusiastically assist locals as well as tourists to take TCM buses to go to their destinations. Moreover, they will reflect passengers’ comments to TCM. These comments will be analyzed, and follow-ups and improvements will be made.

For the recruitment of bus station officer, male and female are welcome. There are women to fill in this post in recent years, and they have contributed to maintain the operation of the bus fleet. If there are vacancies, anyone who matches with the following conditions is welcome to join us:

	Secondary school educational level.
	Age under 45
	With management experience and enthusiasm to serve the public
	Male or Female
	Motorbike license holder and familiar with Macau’s traffic a definite advantage.

Logistic Team

TCM has a maintenance depot at Pac On, Taipa, and has a professional maintenance team. Our professional repair technicians will be responsible for every part of a bus from engines, to body, chassis, electrical parts and air-conditioning system. After buses return to the depot every night, staffs in the depot will diesel oil and clean the buses. All buses are regularly cleaned and they are disinfecting every night for keeping clean. Besides daily cleaning, staffs in the depot will completely clean and exhaustive every part of a bus periodically. Air-conditioning system and dust net in all buses will always be cleaned and maintained to enable the air-conditioning system clean and hygienic. Moreover, all buses are maintained periodically. 15 days after the regular periodical maintenance, there is an “inspection” to make sure that every bus has reached the required safety standard. Lastly engineers will arrange different levels of repairing according to the actual status of a bus and its accumulated mileage.

　　We undertake inspections for our buses. The inspection system and standards we operate are the same as the system used in the IACM (Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau) government inspection center. This ensures that each bus attains the standards of IACM. All buses have to pass the annual inspection of IACM to be allowed to drive on roads.

For recruitment, we do not only employ experienced technicians, but also trainees and junior technicians. In response to the professional training scheme of the government, we have co-operated with the Labor Department to provide practical training opportunities for young trainees in our workshop. After completing the training period, if they demonstrate satisfactory performance and satisfy the requirements, they can join us and become one of TCM members. We will provide them promotional opportunities and let them fully utilize their skills.

The works of Maintenance Department include engines, chassis, electrical work, air-conditioning, body repairs and paint, etc. Anyone who meets with the following conditions can apply to join in the Maintenance Department:

	With several years related working experience
	Can work independently.
	“Heavy truck professional driving license” holder a definite advantage.
	If apply for trainee, with professional training certificates of Labor Department and “heavy truck professional driving license” is preferable.
